## Batch Processing

- **Batch size**: 50 emails per API call
- **Rate delay**: 4 seconds between batches
- **2,000 recipients**: ~40 batches × 4s = ~2.5 minutes total
- **Lambda timeout**: 5 minutes (300s)
- **Retry**: SES handles individual message retries internally

### Bounce/Complaint Alerts
- SNS topic `ses-focus-group-bounces` → email notification
- SES auto-suppression prevents re-sending to bounced addresses

## Updating the Email Template

1. Edit `~/Desktop/focus_group_email_template.html`
2. Run:

## Security

- S3 bucket has public access blocked
- IAM role is least-privilege (SES send, S3 read, SNS create/subscribe, CloudWatch logs)
- No secrets stored in Lambda — all config passed via event payload
- Sender domain verified with DKIM signing (RSA 2048-bit)
